Set of 5 Vintage Minton Ancestral Dinner Plates c.1950’s - 1990's

Absolutely beautiful 10¾” Dinner plates from Minton in “Ancestral” pattern which has become Minton’s signature pattern of all time.  Pure white bone china decorated with raised, hand enamelled red and blue flowers on a floral transfer background.

Ancestral was such a well loved pattern that it was in production from the 1950’s to the 1990’s when it was discontinued.

Gently fluted rims, finished with gilding.

Pre-owned but condition is superb.  At first glance, these plates look unused but if held up to the light a few slight knife marks can be seen.  Probably only used less than a handful of times.
