About Vintage and Pretty

Although this is a releatively new website, Vintage and Pretty has been around for 25+ years. It's about me, really, although I always say "Us" as my long suffering husband gets roped in to help, sort, pack, lool after stock and generally run errands.

My name is Patricia and I have loved antiques and fine china for as long as I can remember. I have a passion for drinking tea and coffee from cups and saucers made for the purpose. The only difficulty is choosing which of my delightful pieces to use. I make tea and coffee in their respective pots and have a wealth of beautiful old table linen some of which might, some day, find itself listed on this website. I just can't use it all.

Unless otherwise stated, everything you find on this website will be pre-owned. It may look new and unused or it may be gently worn which simply adds to the charm of vintage pieces. We try not to sell anything that is damaged unless we feel that age or rarity of such a piece renders a slight chip or mark acceptable. Any damage will, of course, be mentioned but generally, we don't offer for sale any item that we would not be happy to use ourselves.
