In 1948, Thomas Poole merged with “George Procter & Co” and renamed the company “Gladstone China”which produced both earthenware and bone china.
Although the company was renamed Royal Stafford Fine China Ltd in the 1990’s, Royal Stafford was a trade name used from around 1900 until the company’s final demise in 2007. Only earthenware was produced after about 1992.
