Antique Imari Cup & Saucer Duo. Doric China. Pattern 9081. c1920's*

This cup and saucer hand painted over transfer in Imari colours was made in about the 1920’s.

Having research the backstamp, it would appear that it was produced by the Doric China Co, a very short lived company only trading for a few years.  This Imari pattern is known as pattern 9081

Cup is 2” tall with a top rim of 3½” diameter

Saucer is 5½” in diameter.

Lovely antique condition.  Slight wear to gilding.  Old sliver chip under saucer rim not noticeable unless the saucer is turned over.
