Vintage Semi-Mismatch 3-Tier Cake Stand. Paragon & Duchess China 1930's - 1960's

Delightful mismatched 3-tier cake stand, lovingly handmadein our workshop from vintage pieces chosen to go well together to make an attractive and unusual 'one of a kind' serving stand for you to enjoy.

We tried several different top plates to combine with the bottom two tiers but decided we couldn't improve on using the same design top plate as the 'eared' cake serving plate on the bottom tier.  We just liked the overall calming look of the light greens combined with the soft browns and apricot colours on the middle plate.  We hope you do too.

The bottom and top tiers are made with plates from the 1940's and are by Paragon.

The middle  tier is a plate by Duchess China in their Greensleeves pattern and dates from around the 1950's.

Bottom plate measures 10" x 8¾"

Central Plate measures 8¼" diameter

Top Plate Measures 6¼" diameter

Overall height is approximately 13½"

The stand can, of course, be set up as a two-tier stand or, indeed, as a one-tier stand using just one of the plates and the central handle.

Colour of central fitting is antique gold.

Note: Central fitting is a high quality, heavy duty one.  Not one of the more flimsy ones used by a lot of other sellers of cake stands.
