Vintage Mismatch 3-Tier Cake Stand. Antique / Vintage Tiers. Royal Rudolstadt & Minton "Marlow" Pattern

Delightful mismatched 3-tier cake stand, lovingly handmade by in oury workshop from vintage pieces chosen to go well together to make an attractive and unusual 'one of a kind' serving stand for you to enjoy.

The bottom plate is hand painted and comes from the German manufacturer Rudolstadt Straus & Sohne under their Royal Rudolstadt tradename.  It dates from around 1930.

The middle  tier is a beautiful plate from Minton in their "Marlow" pattern which is very similar to the Royal Crown Derby "Posies" pattern.  Dates from around the 1940's-1950's.

 The top tier is a pretty plate, unmarked, but my guess it dates from around the turn of the last century.

Bottom plate measures 8½"diameter

Central Plate measures 8" diameter

Top Plate Measures 6½" diameter

Overall height is approximately 14"

The stand can, of course, be set up as a two-tier stand or, indeed, as a one-tier stand using just one of the plates and the central handle.

Colour of central fitting is gold.

Note: Central fitting is a high quality, heavy duty one.  Not one of the cheap flimsy ones used by a lot of other sellers of cake stands.

Supplied with flat head bottom screw, washers, and assembly instructions.
